Job Summary
Assist senior living tenants with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and therapeutic exercises. Administer oral, trans-dermal, and topical medications under nurse direction while monitoring vital signs like temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Prepare meals, serve food in the dining room, and manage nutrition and fluid intake. Perform housekeeping duties such as cleaning apartments and common areas, plus laundry and linen services. Provide emotional support, socialize with residents, and document care plans and health changes in tenant records. Recognize emergencies and report physical or mental abuse to supervisors while complying with infection control policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current ND CNA license or be able to obtain upon hire
- Must have a current ND MA I license or be able to obtain upon hire
- Must be trained and pass Eventide's Home Health Aide (HHA) competency training and test administered by Eventide
- Must currently be in good standings on all nursing assistant registries in which you have been placed in the U.S.
- Current CPR/BLS (or its approve equivalency) license required
- Must be able to obtain upon hire (regarding ND CNA license)
- Must be able to obtain upon hire (regarding ND MA I license)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with medication administration preferred
