Universal Teller I processes paying and receiving teller transactions and delivers the IBC Experience by providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Responsibilities include balancing and maintaining the cash box, promoting bank products and services to meet customer needs, assisting with branch procedures under dual control, handling foreign currency transactions, and supporting sales goals and referral programs. The role requires strong communication, math, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with a focus on accuracy and customer-centric service in an in-office setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- 1 to 6 months cash handling preferred
- 1+ years of experience interacting with people preferred
- Good oral and written communication
- Bilingual preferred for border markets
