Job Summary
Universal Service Representative (USR) at Heritage Family Credit Union – Rutland, VT. Responsible for delivering world-class member experience, opening new memberships, guiding members through consumer lending—from application to loan closing—and identifying additional financial goals. duties include handling deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, cross-selling products, onboarding new employees, and maintaining branch operations with accuracy and compliance. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, serving members compassionately, resolving complex issues, and promoting credit union products and services. On-site, retail banking environment with benefits such as PTO, health/dental/vision, 401k match, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year banking and/or sales experience required.
- Proficient use of calculator, keyboard and experience using Microsoft Office Suite required
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
