Job Summary
Plan and implement daily program activities and curriculum for assigned classrooms while maintaining a safe, positive atmosphere that respects all individuals. Adhere to YMCA policies and procedures to ensure comprehensive safety protocols are followed throughout the program. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.48 with no night or weekend shifts. Candidates must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma and one year of childcare experience, though CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred. The Saratoga Regional YMCA provides free membership and childcare discounts to support the team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years' experience in childcare setting
- Working knowledge and understanding of NYS Pre-K curriculum and OCFS guidelines, if in relevant program
- No Nights or weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications preferred
