Job Summary
Lot Porter duties include checking vehicles in upon delivery, conducting thorough vehicle inspections and noting damages, accounting for inventories following SOPs, maintaining books and keys, and transporting vehicles to designated areas safely in accordance with company safety practices. The role requires general high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, ability to work a physically demanding shift with lifting up to 50lbs, strong communication, multitasking and organizational skills, and potentially dealership experience.
Required Qualifications
- General high school diploma or equivalent
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills
- Positive appearance
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate vehicles
- 18 years of age or older
- Pass drug screening, background check and MVR check
- Dealership experience is a plus
- This position requires a high level of physical activity
- Able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
