Job Summary
Universal Direct Support Professional will provide one-on-one and group-based support in homes, community settings, and licensed residential programs for individuals with I/DD. Responsibilities include supporting behavioral, social, and vocational skill development; assisting with recreational and community activities; following treatment plans and documenting progress; providing companionship and respite care; submitting documentation and payroll on time; participating in ongoing training; assisting with personal care needs as required; and working independently in home, community, and group home settings. We are seeking adaptable DSPs with weekend and evening schedules; minimum 2 years caregiving experience; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or equivalent; ability to pass background checks; and a compassionate approach to supporting individuals across multiple environments. Compensation is $23.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to pass background checks
- Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed
- Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
- Ability to work independently
