Job Summary
Greet and serve customers while identifying opportunities to expand consumer and business account relationships. Process routine and complex transactions including account openings, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Assist with daily branch operations, preparing cash for shipments, and completing end-of-day closing procedures. Maintain awareness of fraud alerts and adhere to all banking policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing training and weekly branch meetings to ensure smooth information flow. This part-time float role requires flexibility for evening shifts, weekends, and travel between locations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year bank Teller experience
- retail cash handling experience
- Proficient in English, reading, writing, and grammar skills
- Analytical and mathematics skills
- Communication, interpersonal relations and customer service skills
- PC skills (including knowledge of job-related software applications)
- Ability to operate various office machines (i.e., currency counter, combination lock, check encoder, fax machine, passbook validator)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds of coin
- Visual and auditory skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- willingness to travel to other locations/branches within your region
- willingness to adapt to schedule changes during the workday to include evenings and Saturdays or Sundays
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year bank Teller experience preferred
