Job Summary
Greet and serve customers, processing deposits, withdrawals, and account transactions while managing consumer and business relationships. Identify customers with profit potential, develop action plans to expand these relationships, and refer business to partners. Assist with daily branch operations including cash vault preparation, ATM proofing, and end-of-day closing procedures. Maintain awareness of fraud alerts, apply organizational policies, and participate in weekly branch meetings. Travel to other locations or branches within the region as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year bank Teller experience preferred
- cash handling experience
- Proficient in English, reading, writing, and grammar skills
- Analytical and mathematics skills
- Communication, interpersonal relations and customer service skills
- PC skills (including knowledge of job-related software applications)
- Ability to operate various office machines (i.e., currency counter, combination lock, check encoder, fax machine, passbook validator)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds of coin
- Visual and auditory skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of cash handling experience
Desired Qualifications
