Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive client transactions, including receiving checks and cash for deposits, processing withdrawals, and handling wire transfers. Greet all clients upon entry to develop strong banking relationships while delivering the Republic Experience. Open and close deposit accounts for both business and personal clients, monitor new account activity, and manage cash drawer balances daily. Engage in consultative sales conversations to cross-sell loans and other products, utilizing calling lists to retain existing accounts and identify new opportunities. Perform SSR transaction overrides, process mortgage and consumer loan payments, and adhere to all compliance and security procedures. Actively learn new regulations and assist in implementing bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years previous retail sales experience or 1-year Republic Retail Banking experience
- Basic computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications
- Fluent in English (speak, read, write, comprehend, communicate)
- NMLS registration
- Travel between Republic Banking facilities
- Flexible work schedule including some evenings, weekends and/or overtime
