Job Summary
Process member transactions including check cashing, deposits, and loan payments while performing vault custodian duties and vault balancing. Facilitate account servicing requests in person and via telephone, answer phones to resolve inquiries, and uncover member needs to open new accounts. Educate members on beneficial products and services, ensuring prompt, knowledgeable service for all interactions. Requires 2 years' cash handling experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work branch hours including Saturdays. Bilingual English/Portuguese or English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' cash handling experience preferably in a bank or credit union setting
- High energy level, good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and follow up on tasks
- Ability to plan and organize, handle multiple priorities and stressful situations
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Strong computer skill including MS Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work branch hours as needed including Saturday
