Job Summary
Universal Banker recruited to deepen customer relationships, open deposits, promote banking products, assist customers with consumer loan needs, and support branch operations across locations. Responsibilities include assisting clients with inquiries and financial transactions, handling deposits/withdrawals, cross-selling services, balancing cash drawers, preparing reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and identifying suspicious activity. Requires strong customer service, accuracy, and familiarity with banking software and digital platforms; includes travel to other bank locations and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred
- 2-3 years teller experience required
- Must be able to make accurate mathematical calculations and carry out detailed written and oral directions
- Must be able to properly handle confidential materials and information
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer needs
- Proficiency in banking software and digital platforms
- Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
