Job Summary
Provide courteous assistance to new and established customers regarding account selection and financial services while cross-selling products. Process all new account transactions, including verifying identity, completing OFAC lookups, and submitting information to the core system. Explain financial products such as checking accounts, IRAs, and mobile banking, and issue ATM or debit cards with proper customer instruction. Monitor card inventory, scan documents for Centerdoc, and perform check back reviews and call-back procedures for new users. Accept requests for name changes, stop payments, and wire transfers, ensuring accurate processing under time constraints. Requires a high school diploma, thorough product knowledge, and weekend availability. Occasional travel to other branches is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Thorough knowledge of financial institution products and services
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, and follow through with commitments
- Ability to effectively interact with customers and other employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong selling and cross-selling skills
- Ability to work with customers under time constraints
- Strong organizational, planning, prioritization and detailed orientation skills
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Close vision

- Travel to other branches occasionally
