Job Summary

Promote products and services based on customer needs by understanding financial goals and providing consultative advice for account openings, maintenance, and loan applications. Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments while resolving complaints, balancing cash drawers, and reconciling discrepancies. Handle inbound and outbound calls proactively to build relationships, identify product opportunities, and solve issues before they arise. Support digital banking adoption by guiding customers through online and mobile solutions, bill pay, and mobile deposits. Connect customers to experienced banking partners to ensure comprehensive financial needs are met within the branch. Meet quarterly banker minimum standards and participate in sales, service, and product training meetings. Adhere to federal banking regulations including BSA, USA Patriot Act, and AML requirements through ongoing training. Maintain awareness of compliance policies and risk management concepts. Work independently with flexibility for weekends and evenings as business needs require.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Willing and able to travel to other locations/branches
  • Willing and able to work required overtime
  • Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively
  • Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings, as per business needs
  • Experience with commercial credit
