Job Summary
Process financial transactions including payments, deposits, and withdrawals while assisting members with accounts, loans, and maintenance. Identify member needs to provide appropriate product recommendations and educate clients on self-service and digital offerings. Build long-term relationships by creating a positive face-to-face experience and achieving sales goals across Seneca Falls and Waterloo branches. Rotate between Teller and Relationship Banker duties depending on branch needs, requiring flexibility to meet current business demands. Complete NMLS registration and fingerprinting as required.
Required Qualifications
- One year in sales/service in the financial services or comparable industry
- High School diploma or High School equivalency diploma
- Strong, communication, problem solving and decision making abilities
- A high degree of flexibility to support branch needs
- Proficient in PC applications
- Must complete submission of application and fingerprinting to the NMLS (Nationwide Multisite Licensing System) and successfully be registered as an MLO (Mortgage Loan Originator) through ESL
- Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs
- Candidate for this role must be willing to travel between both the Seneca Falls and Waterloo branches
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Sales Experience
- Understanding of banking products and services
- Notary preferred; if not obtain within 12 months of filling role
