Universal Banker

Universal Banker Trainee delivering excellent customer experiences and driving needs-based product referrals. Responsibilities include identifying customer needs to place them in the correct mix of banking products and services, handling deposits and cash transactions, verifying endorsements and checks for fraud, balancing cash drawer, and providing accurate customer service. Will assist with basic deposit account openings and maintenance requests under coaching from a senior employee, develop product knowledge to achieve personal and team goals, track sales opportunities in the customer information software, participate in onsite visits to promote programs, and engage in outbound teleconsulting to expand client relationships. The role requires occasional travel for training and team meetings within the market and may involve working at a Midland States Bank office to support customers.
