Job Summary
Conduct daily branch operations as a teller while educating customers on Consumer and Business Banking solutions and digital capabilities. Hold scheduled and walk-in appointments to identify needs, explain loan application criteria, and refer complex cases to appropriate partners. Proactively reach out to retain and expand relationships, manage lobby interactions, and resolve customer complaints or overdrafts. Assist with Anti-Money Laundering, BSA, and KYC processes, identify suspected fraud, and accurately log all transactions and interactions. Complete operational activities including new account openings, loan origination, and problem resolution while adhering to compliance standards and internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year's proven retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with varying customers (consumer to small business)
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customer conversations
- Well-organized
- Proven time management skills
- Proven prioritization skills
- Ability to work under critical time constraints in a team environment
- Proficiency with internet user-level technology
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Prolonged use of hands and fingers
- Ability to lift light to heavy objects weighting 5 lbs. to 30 lbs.
- Ability to read fine print
- Ability to interact with customers in an open face-to-face work environment
- Responsibility for meeting and maintaining registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act
