Job Summary
Universal Banker role providing branch customer experience through sales, service and digital engagement for Consumer and Business Banking customers. Responsible for educating customers on banking solutions, explaining features, making recommendations, handling customer appointments and walk-ins, guiding customers to digital capabilities, assisting with loan criteria, servicing Customer and Business Banking relationships, following sales processes, proactively retaining and expanding relationships, managing lobby flow, introducing banking partners when appropriate, and adhering to AML/BSA/KYC processes and risk controls. Requires strong customer service, sales capability, and ability to operate in a branch environment with emphasis on accuracy, compliance and collaborative teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year’s proven retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with varying customers (consumer to small business)
- Well-organized
- Proven time management skills
- Proven prioritization skills
- Ability to work under critical time constraints in a team environment
- Proficiency with internet user-level technology
