Job Summary

Conduct daily banking operations including opening consumer and business deposit products, processing loan applications, and managing cash balances. Profile customers to identify needs, cross-sell products, and refer clients to specialists while meeting sales, service, and risk-management goals. Complete core certifications, proficiency checklists, and rotational assignments across Levels I, II, and III to build foundational skills, operational independence, and leadership readiness. Work under close supervision initially, progressing to open/close branches and support team members with coaching. Demonstrate "Voyaging Spirit" and "Positively Ohana" values through active listening and solution-oriented communication. Program spans 18 to 30 months with structured progression toward Assistant Manager opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency
  • 1+ years of experience in demonstrated success in sales and customer service
  • 1+ years of Branch/bank operations experience
  • completion of Teller & New Account Certification within 6 months of hire
  • 2+ years of experience in demonstrated success in sales and customer service
  • 2+ years of Branch/bank operations experience
  • 1+ years of experience explaining credit products and accepting/closing consumer and business loan applications

  • Registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry (NMLS)
  • Notary Public commission
  • Medallion Stamp authorization
  • Must be able to perform light physical work and to move or lift items including but not limited to boxes, files and papers up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to operate and proficiently use standard office equipment, including phone, copier, personal computer and/or other work related mechanical or electronic devices and applications
  • Must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing with all internal and external customers
  • Must also be able to hear sufficiently to engage in daily discussions and interactions
  • Must be able to read and understand bank-related documents
  • Must be able to work in a conventional office setting, involving sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods of time
  • Must also be able to adapt to different work environments as needed to perform the job

Desired Qualifications
