Job Summary
Greet customers, handle transactions, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, account management, and loan payments. Suggest products and services to help clients plan, save, and succeed financially while maintaining regulatory compliance and mastering new banking systems. Mentor new teammates and lead operations during management absences if advancing to the Universal Banker III level. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a minimum hourly rate of $22.00 and includes medical, dental, vision, 401K matching, and paid parking for Juneau Downtown Branch employees.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ months in cash-handling, retail, or hospitality
- 1+ year in banking OR 2+ years in customer service/cash-handling
- Degree in a related field can replace experience
- 3+ years of banking experience
- Leadership and mentoring experience preferred
- Able to run the branch in a pinch!
- Stellar communication and people skills
- Detail-driven and highly organized
- Great under pressure and loves a good challenge
- Tech-savvy with MS Office and banking software
- Team player, self-starter, and fast learner
