Job Summary
Engage with customers to establish rapport, provide consultative financial advice, and process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and account openings. Promote products and services by understanding customer goals, managing credit card applications, and resolving account discrepancies. Handle inbound and outbound calls to build relationships, recommend products, and solve issues proactively while adhering to federal banking regulations and compliance policies. Maintain cash drawers, reconcile discrepancies, and balance daily tasks to meet quarterly branch goals. This role requires flexibility for weekends, evenings, and travel between locations, with a focus on community impact and shared prosperity within Midwest BankCentre.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Willing and able to travel to other locations/branches
- Willing and able to work required overtime
- Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of two years bank customer contact or retail sales experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage clients effectively
- Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and software
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings, as per business needs
- Experience with commercial credit
