Job Summary
Universal Banker I performs a range of duties to deliver efficient and accurate services to customers, including teller, vault, collection, new accounts, and backup loan-related tasks; requires extensive knowledge of bank products and services and adherence to compliance/BSA-AML rules. The role spends about 75% of time on the teller line and 25% on platform/new accounts, with a schedule roughly 7:45 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, and possible overtime. Requires high school diploma/GED, at least one year of teller experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and may require NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act. Demonstrates professional appearance, strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information; physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional travel as part of the job duties.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of teller experience in a financial institution
- NMLS registration may be required (S.A.F.E. Act)
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
