Job Summary
Conduct frontline banking functions including teller services, opening new accounts, managing cash in vaults and drawers, and verifying deposits. Provide comprehensive customer service by explaining products, gathering information for existing and new accounts, and proactively cross-selling UFB offerings through internal and outbound interactions. Comply with all policies, regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act while investigating errors and processing wire transfers. Balance vaults and complete branch reports daily, providing transaction overrides within assigned procedural limits. Refer customers to appropriate personnel for complex financial needs. Requires 32-40 hours per week with potential Saturday rotation and weekend/evening shifts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One to two years banking experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to use sound judgement
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit of Products
- Must be able to lift items weighting up to 10 pounds on a consistent basis
- Must be available for weekend and evening work
- Must be able to travel between branches
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum one to two years in a customer contact/sales position or equivalent
