Job Summary
Universal Banker I at Nicolet National Bank drives new business and grows relationships while serving as a frontline advisor. Responsible for teller services, customer service across in-person, phone, and digital channels, educating customers on digital tools, and proactively identifying financial needs to recommend solutions. Refers opportunities to Personal Bankers and lending specialists for deposit accounts, consumer loans, home equity loans/lines, and credit cards. Supports branch performance through relationship-building, needs-based referrals, operational accuracy, and compliance excellence. Maintains cash handling, balances routines, fraud-prevention steps, and audit-ready accuracy; adheres to regulatory requirements (BSA/AML, KYC, OFAC, Reg CC, Reg E). Collaborates with team, participates in community engagement, and supports branch operations and duties as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of cash-handling and customer-service experience; prior banking or retail financial-services experience is preferred; strong customer-service, communication, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with banking systems, digital platforms, and Microsoft Office.
