Job Summary
Universal Banker position handling teller duties, opening new deposit accounts, and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include processing a variety of bank transactions, verifying endorsements and balances, balancing cash drawers, supporting vault/coin operations, handling customer requests (wires, notary services, disputes, online/mobile banking, debit cards), and assisting with account maintenance and onboarding. Requires assessing customer needs, promoting bank products and services with a solutions-based approach, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Strong emphasis on customer experience, accuracy, timely follow-up, and collaboration with other departments to meet sales and referral goals. Proficient communication and knowledge of banking software (e.g., Jack Henry, Deposit Pro, Laser Pro) and general office software.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year retail banking or customer service experience required
