Job Summary
Educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking solutions, explain loan application criteria, and make recommendations based on identified needs. Engage clients through various channels to encourage digital banking usage while proactively reaching out to support retention and expansion. Handle walk-in and scheduled appointments, resolve customer complaints, review overdrafts, and accurately log all interactions in the appropriate system. Assist with new account openings, loan origination, and transaction processing while adhering to AML, BSA, and KYC compliance processes. Float to different branches within the designated area to assist staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year's proven retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience
- Ability to easily travel between branches on an as needed basis
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with varying customers (consumer to small business)
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customer conversations
- Well-organized
- Proven time management skills
- Proven prioritization skills
- Ability to work under critical time constraints in a team environment
- Proficiency with internet user-level technology
- Responsibility for meeting and maintaining registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act
