Job Summary
Educate customers on Consumer and Business Banking solutions, explain high-level loan criteria, and recommend products based on identified needs. Engage clients through walk-ins, appointments, and video conferencing to drive retention and expansion while proactively reaching out for opportunities. Manage lobby operations by greeting customers, resolving complaints, and taking ownership of banking needs including new account openings and loan origination. Accurately complete transactions, review overdrafts, and log interactions while adhering to AML, BSA, and KYC processes. Identify and escalate suspected fraud cases, maintain internal control standards, and assist branch staff during travel rotations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum of 1 year's proven retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience
- Ability to easily travel between branches on an as needed basis
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with varying customers (consumer to small business)
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customer conversations
- Well-organized
- Proven time management skills
- Proven prioritization skills
- Ability to work under critical time constraints in a team environment
- Proficiency with internet user-level technology
- Responsibility for meeting and maintaining registration requirements under the Federal SAFE Act
