Job Summary
Float Universal Banker provides branch-level service and sales across Consumer and Business Banking, frequently traveling between branches within a designated area to assist staff. Responsibilities include educating customers on banking solutions, identifying needs, referring complex needs to the appropriate team, servicing consumer/business relationships, following the bank's sales process, proactively engaging customers to retain and expand relationships, managing lobby and appointments, promoting digital capabilities, assisting with AML/BSA/KYC processes, resolving overdrafts and customer issues, and supporting compliance and risk controls. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience, plus ability to travel between branches.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- minimum of 1 year’s proven retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience
- Ability to easily travel between branches on an as needed basis
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact with varying customers (consumer to small business)
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customer conversations
- Well-organized
- Proven time management skills
- Proven prioritization skills
- Ability to work under critical time constraints in a team environment
