Job Summary
The Universal Banker is responsible for opening, maintaining, and closing various types of bank accounts, processing teller transactions, and executing referrals for new business opportunities. The role involves cash handling, ensuring compliance with dual control policies, assisting customers with safe deposit boxes, achieving individual daily sales referral goals, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining the professional appearance of the branch. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of retail banking experience. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to oversee and assist others.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or General Education degree (GED)
- Minimum of one (1) year retail banking experience to include cash handling
Desired Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- Sales experience in banking
