Job Summary
The Universal Banker (UB) is a hybrid role combining Customer Service Representative and Teller duties to act as a single point of contact for Apple Bank clients. Responsibilities include opening new accounts, resolving service issues, promoting bank products/services, making referrals to licensed representatives, handling teller transactions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring CIP/BSA compliance, and mentoring new tellers and CSRs. The UB aims to build strong customer relationships, meet sales and referral goals, educate customers on disclosures and FDIC protections, and support branch leadership while adhering to regulatory and operational controls. The role involves cross-training in other branch functions and may require travel or extended hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years retail banking experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of banking products and services
- Weekend work and extended hours may be required
