Job Summary
Universal Banker role combining Teller & Personal Banker responsibilities: greet customers, build relationships to identify financial products and services, process transactions accurately, open accounts, assist with loan applications, and perform daily/weekly sales reporting. The position requires sales experience in an incentive-driven environment, cash handling, ability to generate referrals, teamwork, professional communication, and flexibility to work additional hours in a branch setting. Banking products and services knowledge, strong customer service orientation, and proficiency with Microsoft applications are valued; bilingual Spanish skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding performance goals
- Minimum of six months cash handling experience in a retail sales environment
- Ability to generate referrals including making on site visits with local businesses
- Ability to work effectively as a team member and with customers
- Must demonstrate a business professional image and demeanor
- Must be able to communicate professionally verbally and in writing
- Must be flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the branch environment
