Job Summary
Serve as the customers' first point of contact by processing transactions, opening new accounts, and cross-selling products to meet banking center and individual sales goals. Handle broad banking center activities including approving transactions, preparing reports, and resolving customer inquiries while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Update loan data, gather documentation, and refer leads for loans, deposits, and brokerage services to specialists. Maintain client confidentiality and participate in sales, service, compliance, and product training. Represent the bank in community affairs and civic organizations. Requires two years of personal banking or teller experience with a minimum of two years of loan experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a minimum of two years of prior personal banking or teller experience with major emphasis on customer service
- Understands basic knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services to open accounts or refer customer to specialists in other departments
- Excellent customer service skills that include above average verbal and written communication
- Relationship building, collaboration and teamwork
- Problem solving skills
- Teller and systems training and new account opening
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of loan experience preferred
