Job Summary
Serve as the customer's first point of contact by processing transactions, opening new accounts, and cross-selling products to meet sales goals. Handle inquiries regarding loans, deposits, and brokerage services while updating loan data and ensuring proper documentation and signatures. Assist management with preparing reports, resolving issues, and maintaining branch lending policies. Actively refer leads to specialists and participate in training for sales, service, compliance, and product knowledge. Represent the bank in community affairs and civic organizations. Requires two years of personal banking or teller experience, with loan experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a minimum of two years of prior personal banking or teller experience with major emphasis on customer service
- Understands basic knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services to open accounts or refer customer to specialists in other departments
- Excellent customer service skills that include above average verbal and written communication
- Relationship building, collaboration and teamwork
- Problem solving skills
- Teller and systems training and new account opening
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of loan experience preferred
