Job Summary
Serve as the first point of contact for customers by processing transactions, opening new accounts, and cross-selling products to meet sales objectives. Manage day-to-day banking center activities including approving transactions, preparing reports, and resolving inquiries while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Update loan data, gather documentation, and refer leads for deposits, Treasury, and brokerage services to specialists. Participate in training, assist with branch lending policies, and represent the bank in community affairs. Requires two years of personal banking or teller experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a minimum of two years of prior personal banking or teller experience with major emphasis on customer service
- Understands basic knowledge of bank deposits, lending products, credit products, and services to open accounts or refer customer to specialists in other departments
- Excellent customer service skills that include above average verbal and written communication
- Relationship building, collaboration and teamwork
- Problem solving skills
- Teller and systems training and new account opening
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of loan experience preferred
