Job Summary
Universal Banker delivering a welcoming, engaged client experience through relationship-focused, consultative conversations. Responsibilities include handling deposits/withdrawals/transfers, account servicing, cash-d drawer maintenance, vault/night depository tasks, branch operations, regulatory compliance (BSA, CTR, KYC), basic account opening, and introducing products/services. Emphasizes active listening, communication, problem solving, and the ability to build rapport while delivering tailored financial solutions and guiding clients through digital tools.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Six months to one year of banking or related experience in the sales or financial industry
- Demonstrated excellent customer service and communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
- Effective selling, cross-selling, and referral skills
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Self-motivated/takes initiative
- Proficiency with computers
- Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
