Universal Associate I (Teller/New Accounts)

Job Summary
Provides timely and courteous customer service; processes customer transactions; assesses customer financial needs and suggests bank services and products; participates in and promotes the bank’s sales culture and referral programs; maintains daily transactions and balances, researches outages, and balances the drawer; ensures compliance with banking regulations; opens and maintains deposit accounts for consumers and businesses; 38–40 hours per week with some Saturday mornings; 2,080 hours per year; includes benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, life and disability insurance, Aflac plans, and employee assistance. Familiarity with cash handling, transactions, vault/ATM duties (as applicable to Universal Associate I).
Required Qualifications
- One year customer service and cash handling experience
- High school diploma or equivalent educational experience (preferred)
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
- Ability to quickly learn position-related software
- Ability to effectively use general office equipment
