Job Summary
Review study documents and create research billing compliance grids for federal, industrial, and institutional cancer clinical trials within the HCC Clinical Trials Office. Initiate Prospective Reimbursement Analysis (PRA) requests, utilize the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS) to record activity, and communicate PRA status to supervisors, study teams, and Principal Investigators. Maintain awareness of study priorities and deadlines to ensure billing grids are completed on time, proactively communicating any challenges or delays. Push final billing grids from SPARC to EPIC, verify user rosters, and update CTMS task lists. Participate in research billing compliance audits, correct identified errors, and assist with special projects or process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma
- Three years professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending
- A bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for two years of the required work experience
- Computer literacy
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs., unassisted
- Ability to lift objects, up to 15 lbs., from floor level to height of 36 inches, unassited
- Ability to lower objects, up to 15 lbs., from height of 36 inches to floor level, unassisted
- Ability to push/pull objects, up to 15 lbs., unassisted
- Ability to maintain 20/40 vision, corrected
- Ability to see and recognize objects close at hand
