Job Summary
Operations Manager leads day-to-day MUSC Healthcare Simulation Center operations, overseeing intake, scheduling, setup, execution, and follow-up; ensures resource adequacy, develops standards and procedures, provides customer service, and supports continuous quality improvement. Works with faculty, clinicians, learners, administrators, and external partners to ensure scalable, high-quality, and financially responsible simulation programs. Responsibilities include staff supervision, staffing plans, onboarding and development, implementation of simulation activities, quality improvement, documentation, and inventory and facilities management; emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and strategic planning to advance simulation-based education and interprofessional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, business, public administration, leadership, instructional design, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare simulation, healthcare operations, academic operations, clinical training support, or related program management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with direct responsibility for personnel, workflow coordination, program implementation, or operational oversight
- CHSOS, CHSE, or equivalent simulation-related certification, or eligibility to obtain an applicable certification within 12 months of hire
