UNIV - Post Doctoral Scholar - Regenerative Medicine

Postdoctoral Scholar position in the MUSC Regenerative Medicine and Cell Biology laboratory to lead NIH-funded projects on liver cancer and liver regeneration using in vitro systems and in vivo mouse models. Key duties include designing and conducting experiments related to liver regeneration, liver cancer, and cellular plasticity; maintaining organized records; assisting with daily lab operations and mouse colony management; training and supervising graduate students and staff; preparing manuscripts and presenting results at conferences; and helping develop future grant proposals and career opportunities (NIH, AHA, and other funding). Desirable experience includes RNA-seq analysis, liver biology, organoid culture, CRISPR-based approaches, and bioinformatics; candidates should demonstrate independence, initiative, collaborative spirit, and strong communication skills.
