Job Summary
Conduct inpatient rounding on the Stroke Teaching Ward, manage the Stroke Consult Service, and lead the Outpatient Stroke Clinic and Telestroke consult program. Provide direct clinical care and education to vascular neurology fellows, house-staff, and medical students while collaborating within an interdisciplinary setting. Participate in investigator-initiated research and clinical trials as part of the department's robust clinical research enterprise.
Required Qualifications
- board-eligible or board certified in general neurology
- completed ACGME-fellowship training in Vascular Neurology
- appointment as an Assistant Professor (or higher commensurate with experience) on the Clinician Educator Track
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure and familiarity with tele-stroke and tele-neurology consultations and services
- Excellent communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary setting
- experience teaching vascular neurology fellows, house-staff and medical students
- experience with clinical trials
