Job Summary

Coordinate and process departmental procurement, supplier invoice payments, and reimbursements in OurDay while maintaining supporting documentation and monitoring transaction status. Assist Principal Investigators with proposal preparation, budget development, and expenditure monitoring to ensure compliance with sponsor and institutional guidelines. Monitor and reconcile departmental, grant, and contract accounts to identify budget variances and bring funding issues to leadership attention. Prepare financial reports, progress reports, and no-cost extension requests to support effective award management. This role supports the Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at MUSC, which attracts over $250 million in annual research funding. The position requires a bachelor's degree and four years of related professional experience.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree
four years professional experience in a related area such as accounting, auditing, finance or commercial lending
A job-related bachelor's degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for two years of the required work experience
