Job Summary
Coordinate nursing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage, manage daily changes including call-offs and shift adjustments, and communicate updates with nursing staff. Maintain accurate staffing records, attendance information, and scheduling reports while protecting confidentiality. Work closely with nursing leadership to identify staffing needs, assist with orientation schedules for new employees, and support administrative responsibilities related to nursing operations. Perform other duties as assigned in a stable, full-time role at Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare office experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or another healthcare environment is strongly preferred
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing staffing needs
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented
