Unit PRN RN (RN) - Surgery/Bariatric

Perform the Nursing Process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care to patients and significant others. Coordinate safe quality care through interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation while maintaining a respectful clinical environment. Mentor preceptors and staff to ensure a qualified workforce, and participate in performance improvement activities, research utilization, and shared governance initiatives. Proactively plan patient care across the continuum, develop protocols with care managers, and consult experts to address practice questions using current clinical standards. Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments, and comply with Wellstar Health System policies and accreditation requirements. Minimum two years of specified area experience required, with Epic and 3M data entry skills preferred.
