Unit Operations Supervisor - City

Unit Operations Supervisor for the Drainage Program within the Streets and Drainage Maintenance Division of the City of Oklahoma City Public Works Department. Primarily responsible for coordinating and managing staff and operational activities across multiple small work sections or a large specialized section of clerical, administrative, and technical classifications. Essential duties include preparing sectional budgets and objective/goal reports, writing bid specifications for equipment, materials and supplies, monitoring expenditures, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local standards, implementing productivity improvements, and preparing complex technical reports for submission to the Division Director, City Manager, and/or regulatory agencies. The role requires frequent collaboration with division personnel, contractors, other city employees, external agencies, and municipalities, and is performed with minimal supervision. The position supports city-wide safety-sensitive and governance standards and contributes to achieving program objectives and service outcomes.
