Job Summary
Retrieve and process diet orders, collect patient meal selections via visits or calls, and deliver trays according to schedule while operating CBORD and Bedside menu entry systems. Practice safe food handling, storage, and infection control in compliance with HACCP, TJC, and MD Dept. of Health standards. Serve as a liaison between patients, dietitians, and staff to promote optimal nutrition care, while answering and directing phone calls professionally. This role supports high-quality food service delivery within Meritus Health's Nutrition Services team, ensuring accurate meal selections and excellent customer service.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of food service experience
- Experience with modified diets
- Direct customer service experience
- Clerical/typing ability
