Job Summary
Manage the hiring process, plan staffing adjustments, and evaluate staff performance to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Nursery. Coordinate matrix relationships with Nurse Educators and Clinical Leaders, identify best practices, and oversee their implementation. Operate the unit budget, monitor revenues and expenses, and ensure facilities and equipment meet standards. Proactively assess safety risks, model a culture of safety, and maintain compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA regulations. Facilitate the Professional Nursing Organization and PACE credentialing while supporting clinical research programs. Requires BSN, master's preferred, five years of acute care management experience, and New Hampshire RN licensure. Full-time role with 24-hour coverage; salary range $110,000–$135,000.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Supervisory and/or management experience
- 5 years of progressive responsibility within an acute care setting
- Must obtain and maintain clinical competencies within assigned unit
- Licensed Registered Nurse with New Hampshire eligibility
- Current BLS
