Job Summary
Coordinate daily operations for the clinical unit by ensuring staffing levels meet resident needs and adjusting schedules to reflect actual capacity. Lead weekly resident "At Risk" meetings, morning clinical reviews, and PPS meetings while monitoring care delivery, documentation, and compliance with state, federal, and HIPAA regulations. Review 24-hour change reports, manage work assignments including breaks, and initiate disciplinary actions or grievance resolutions as required. Assist with performance evaluations, admission processes, and corrective actions for problem areas, while ensuring staff follow infection control, safety drills, and privacy protocols. Provide direct nursing care as necessary and participate in annual surveys or complaint processes to maintain standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or must be a graduate of an approved RN program
- Must be an actively licensed RN in assigned state(s) of employment
- Previous supervisory experience
- Two years of LTC experience
Desired Qualifications
- Acute Care experience preferred
