Job Summary
Lead, guide, and direct the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned unit while ensuring delivery aligns with mission, vision, values, policies, and state/federal regulations. Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure best possible outcomes for patients. Manage human resources by limiting overtime and agency use, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary. Support the Director of Nursing in achieving positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction across patients, residents, families, and employees.
Required Qualifications
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college or university
- Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
