Job Summary
Unit Nurse Manager (RN or LPN) to manage staffing and supervise nursing staff providing direct resident care on the assigned unit; perform staff development, recruit/hire nursing staff, coordinate staffing schedules, and ensure quality resident care and compliance with policies. Responsibilities include supervising Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, conducting data collection on residents' medical status, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, ensuring documentation and resident rights compliance, and providing preceptor training. Emphasizes innovative, responsible healthcare practices and development of a successful management team.
Required Qualifications
- current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population
- Minimum 1 year experience in nursing administration
- qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done
