Unit Manager RN

Initiate and lead team conferences to develop individualized nursing care plans while assessing resident conditions and implementing physician orders. Supervise and direct LPNs and CNAs, assigning care based on resident needs and staff capabilities. Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments, documenting all actions per regulatory standards. Coordinate nursing care for residents undergoing therapy or procedures and ensure equipment is maintained safely. Interview applicants, recommend hires, and participate in counseling or disciplinary actions within state practice act limits. Maintain accurate records of observations and reactions, and conduct in-service training for personnel.
