Job Summary
Oversee clinical operations of the unit, supervising nurses and CNAs while interfacing with physicians and managing QI reporting and follow-up. Provide clinical expertise to staff as needed for our most clinically acute patients and residents. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations for long-term care, with a BSN preferred. Typical hours include Monday through Friday day shift, with some weekend and on-call duties. Join a team where technical skills are balanced with people skills in a skilled rehab center.
Required Qualifications
- Current license by the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse
- Minimum three to five years of experience as an RN or LPN, preferably in long term care
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations as they relate to long term care
Desired Qualifications
- Nursing Management experience preferred
- BSN preferred
